  1. I am greatly indebted to Dr. Sarkar for making a vast array of information regarding Rabindranath Tagore available to us. It shows how much pains he has taken, despite his busy schedule as a leading eye surgeon of Kolkata, to collate the information for the readers. Well reseached and analytical, the information, most of which is unknown or little known, has all the more endeared the poet to us. I sincerely convey my gratitude to Dr. Sarkar for this endeavour and wish him all the very best. I shall look forward to receiving more such precious gems of information from him in the days to come.
